We at Panatron for every quarter we sponsor a soldering tutorial for a school that needs it. Because of the cutbacks in our California university's, our engineering students are graduating without any soldering experience and employers are the ones that are having the problems because of this reason. We found out the hard way ourselves. That is why we are trying to help. So on October 19th 2013 between the hours 12 PM to 5 PM we had a soldering tutorial where we had 13 students. We had little soldering kits for students to solder on a PC board, some of them were surface mount and some were the conventional PCB with through holes. After they were done soldering there was a First and second prize, the first prize went to Thomas Luong and the second prize went to Michael Borado. Also we have photos.
